Sealed Lead Acid
Panasonic sealed gel cell batteries are used in many applications including metal detectors, security systems, rechargeable torches, etc. The 12 Volt Shop can supply the range of Panasonic batteries available in 6 and 12 V. Batteries range in size from 1.2 Ah to 65 Ah in capacity. A number of sizes are listed in the price list.

BB SLA Batteries
BB sealed lead acid batteries are available in a number of capacity ratings with 12 months warranty.

Solar Block DryFit
Dryfit solar block batteries have been designed for medium power requirements. Typical applications include: weekend or holiday homes with large electrical loads, medium solar systems for industrial applications, small solar and wind-driven power plants, offshore buoys, yachts, measurement stations.
The dryfit solar block batteries are maintenance free, low gassing, and are rated for 1200 cycles to IEC896 12 standard.

Energystore Tubular Batteries "RAPS"
The heavy duty construction of Energystore batteries is designed specifically for transportation over difficult terrain. Individual two volt cells have their own polypropylene container and are then encased in a rugged polyethylene outer tray with lifting handles. This design maximizes strength and impact resistance and provides an installation not easily damaged.
With the difficulty of access to many Australian RAPS sites optimal performance of the batteries , with minimal routine maintenance is desirable. Energystore Tubular batteries have been developed and tested by GNB Australia with our many years of deep cycling battery experience. The result is a reliable battery that requires only minor occasional maintenance. Inspection is easy with electrolyte level float guides fitted to every cell.

Dual Battery Systems


Dual Charge Controller
The ARRID Advanced Charge Controller is the complete package, delivering total battery management. A fully automatic charging system, the Advanced Charge Controller has all the standard functions such as battery isolation and spike protection, but also includes features not normally associated with dual battery controllers. One such feature is the charge control method.
The Advanced Charge Controller operates using an advanced battery voltage sensing system. The Advanced Charge Controller is designed to preferentially charge the main battery until reaching a preset voltage, and only then divert charge to the auxiliary battery. The Advanced Charge Controller ensures you will always be able to start the vehicle.
Another feature is the full function LED display that provides information on operational status. With the added ability to charge a second auxiliary battery the ARRID Advanced Charge Controller is everything you always wanted in a battery management system and so much more!

Twin Charge
The Twin Charge Battery Charger is a major breakthrough for charging a second battery through the 12 volt system of a vehicle. Previously the only systems available to charge a second battery from a vehicle were solenoid, diode or percentage switching systems. Unfortunately all of these systems can reduce battery life, due to failure to fully charge the second battery.

Smart Relay
The ARRID Smart Relay revolutionizes the way people think about dual battery systems. The Smart Relay combines the best of both worlds, incorporating advanced features in a compact unit. The Smart Relay is suitable for all types of vehicles, making it the ideal battery management solution. The Smart Relay will prevent loads connected to the auxiliary battery from draining the starting battery, and will not allow the auxiliary battery to drain the starting battery when the vehicle starts. Integrating the control unit with the relay makes installing the Smart Relay a breeze!

Dual Charge System Controller
The ARRID Dual Charge Electronic is designed to be installed into existing relay or solenoid charging systems. The Dual Charge Electronic will greatly increase the safety of these systems ensuring the starting battery can never be drained by the auxiliary battery during vehicle ignition.
A key feature of the Dual Charge Electronic is the ability to charge two separate auxiliary battery banks using one Dual Charge Electronic. Greater battery capacity gives more power for those heavy loads!

Rotary Battery Controllers

Battery Rotary
Many boat systems have a number of banks of batteries, each dedicated to a particular use or load. Charging of batteries of different types or sizes in a system where batteries are charged in parallel will result in undercharging of some batteries. Undercharging of batteries in turn leads to sulphation and battery failure.
The ARRID Battery Rotary Controller can charge up to 4 battery banks from on solar source by isolating each bank and charging that bank only. After a predetermined time, the Battery Rotary will transfer charge to the next battery bank. The process rotates the solar charge between each bank of batteries, charging each bank in turn.

Battery Management System
The ARRID Solar Regulator and Battery Management System is especially suited for Motorhomes, caravans and boats with two battery banks. Charging of two battery banks in parallel will result in undercharging of one of the banks. This will cause sulphation of the battery and result in premature battery failure.
This unit combines a 12 A solar regulator with a battery management system that will automatically control the charging of two separate battery banks.
